The Bettermaker Mastering Compressor is highly versatile. Three different compression modes turn
it into a gluing compressor, a puncher, and a workhorse in one unit. Switchable feedforward/reverse mode
provides even more compression options. This can make styles more edgy, musical, and straightforward,
or more precise, modern, and transparent.

BM mode:
The most versatile and transparent of the modes. Bettermaker’s signature compressor style features a long attack,
variable knee, and ultra-smooth response. It’s ideal for mastering and pressing clear, glossy adhesive.

SG Mode:
The iconic sound of British bus compression with a wider, more flexible attack and release time than
the original hardware. This sound is especially effective on buses and drums.

DX Mode:
Modeled after the classic American device, this mode is the most aggressive,
with a fast response and a sharp, energetic sound. Its bold edge works especially well on individual tracks,
such as vocals, drums, and guitars.

Get the most out of this versatile VCA with a streamlined workflow. Clean up your signal
with the built-in high-frequency converter. Choose and customize three compression styles to suit your needs
with a variety of presets and customization options. Gain immediate control over your sound with a dedicated
sidechain section with audition functionality and a three-band sidechain EQ. External sidechain controls
allow you to easily use your own instruments. Bettermaker’s

color- and symbol-based compression
also captures the full harmonic richness of the original hardware’s two independent color schemes.
Add warm, smooth analog THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) distortion or aggressive analog
Zener clipping with even and odd configurations for
additional harmonic effects.
